So this past week or so I managed to get in some BB with more random people. I’m glad I was able to go even with some 500 or so PSR kune/bang player. Fuck kune’s j.B, but whatever it was pretty fun. I drop dp inputs on stick like crazy still, but I can tell I’m getting more comfortable with it. I think. I played a ragna today. I have trouble with the Jin/Ragna matchup much more than I should, I feel like. I’m pretty sure I lost every game to that guy today. The actual matches were close for the most part, but I didn’t win any.

That being said, even after using like 600 yen consistently at the arcade maybe bi-daily, excluding weekends, I really enjoy the arcade scene. When you finish playing games, you can say thanks for the games or whatever in Japanese, and go on to do life things. I think it’s pretty nice because it’s also pretty streamlined with everyday life, in my situation at least.

I go to 3 hour Japanese lesson, go to arcade for an hour or so, go back home, and leave for part-time work at an umi no ie. Kind of just part of the routine I suppose.

Anyway, still looking forward to coming back home to play with the local scene again, though that still won’t be for a little while. Yup.
